Four Months
It's been nearly four months and we're settling into a married-life routine. Becca's got a job at a bakery in Puyallup (lots o' carbs, cookies, and other goodies for Joel!). She loves it, and it's been an easy transition for her, since she cooks and bakes so much.
Joel has a new job too. Tired of the commute to Redmond, and not satisfied with the apartments available to us up north, he found a job in Tacoma as a Data Analyst. He's getting settled in with a great group of people and some challenging work.
Thanks for all the prayers and support these last few months. We're happy, healthy, and doing well. A friend from church asked what our biggest argument has been so far and the only thing we could come up with is the way we fold our socks (Joel=match the pair and fold in half; Becca=fold the tops down). That is such a blessing, since we know that hard times will eventually come.
But if we have a nice, quiet, boring life together, I don't think either of us will complain.
